Thanks For Our Freedom will be closed from December 24th - January 2nd to give our Christmas Elves a very well deserved holiday break. :) We want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of the amazing sponsors who joined with us this holiday season and helped TFOF have an extremely successful Christmas program! There are hero families smiling across our great country thanks to YOU! Your tremendous efforts and support are so greatly appreciated, thank you!!
As soon as all our little elves return (especially our photographer elf who is currently out of town spending time with her own hero family) we will be sending out the rest of the delivery pictures and also forwarding all the fantastic holiday pictures sent in from our hero families as well as their heartfelt thanks. 24 days of Christmas...
This year we wanted to try something new to help get some extra support and holiday cheer to our awesome troops and their families, so each day (starting right now!) we'll be featuring 3 wishes on our Facebook Page and also updating them on the new page on our website entitled Grant a Wish.
It's super easy! If you see a wish you'd like to grant simply email us at wishes@thanksforourfreedom.org, tell us the Wish # and we'll send you all of the info! Each day the wishes will vary from something small to a Big dream wish! Each wish will be listed by a number and we'll keep the website up to date showing which wishes have been granted and which ones still need a Christmas angel to come along!
If you can't grant a wish but would like to help with one just let us know and we'll share all the great ways you can get involved. Be a Hero to a Hero!! Be sure to check back often either on the this site or our FB page to see the new wishes and hopefully we can make every wish come true!

Santa Called...
He said if you "Adopt" a Military family for Christmas you automatically get put on the NICE list!! :)
We still have a large number of military families looking for their Christmas angels! If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at anytime. Sponsors have the options to select and design an adoption that works best for them, it's structure in a way that any one can help!

We received more than 4x the number of applications for assistance as last year and have so many families who are experiencing very severe hardships, so please, if you can help TFOF spread some extra Christmas cheer we will personally contact Santa on your behalf! :)

We're back!
Just a quick update: Everyone is now back from their mini vacation :) Each year we give everyone one last long weekend off since we won't get one again until after the holidays! We were closed Friday thru Tuesday so if you tried to contact TFOF you will be receiving a response by tomorrow.
We have matched the first batch of families, but with over triple the number of applicants as last year we are working on overdrive to process them all. Whether you have already been matched or we are still processing your adoption, you will be contacted by your coordinator by Monday with either your adopted family information or an update.
We have received emails stating that the Military Family application is not working, however we have double and triple checked and everything is in order and working properly. We have receiving applications everyday so it's definitely working! If you are trying to access the application from your work computer there may be security precautions that prevent you from accessing the application. We have found that this is the case with some sponsors as well. So if for some reason you are unable to access either the sponsor sign up or family application please try again either via your home computer or smart phone. If you are still having issues please contact us and we will make arrangements to provide the applicable forms via email. If you have any questions please CONTACT US.
PLEASE continue to share our program with anyone whom you think might be interested in helping us support these hero families! We have so many in need of our assistance this year and many suffering extreme hardships, so please keep sharing and keep an eye out for our next Facebook event to help gain additional support for our awesome troops.

Correction!!!
We are so very sorry for the inconvenience, but a mistake was made in our address when we had the website updated and our address was listed incorrectly!
We are working on contacting the local Post Office in hopes of having everything forwarded to our correct address. If you have mailed anything to us in the last 2 months since our move please CONTACT US so we can verify that we were able to retrieve your package.
In the meantime please feel free to send anything to our PO Box until we get this matter fixed.
